About + Candle Care

Each candle is hand poured. Please allow a few days for this process. Normally we can hand pour, package and ship your order in 3-5 days. (5-7 days during peak seasonal times but it's worth the wait. promise!)
Soy Wax has a memory, and needs to be trained to burned correctly. We recommend at first burn, to let your candle burn long enough it melts the wax all the way to the edges of your vessel. This may take two hours to achieve, but done correctly your candle will have a clean healthy burn, all the way to the end! It is important to trim your wick to 1/4 of an inch before each burn, this helps achieve the optimum burn.
Soy wax is a natural, renewable resource. Soy wax candles are non-toxic, and biodegradable. (they clean up with just soap and water!)
You can reuse and repurpose your candle vessel!
When your candle wax is gone, heat your candle in an oven set to 150 degrees. Let it sit for about 15 minutes. When all of the wax residue is melted, take the candle out (careful- it’s hot!) and wipe it down. Pull off the metal wick tab, and wash your empty vessel with hot soapy water. repurpose to your heart’s desire! (Cute new flower pot? Pencil holder?)
Soy candles burn longer, and cleaner than your regular paraffin wax candles. we not only use 100% all natural soy wax, we also use all natural, lead and zinc free cotton wicks!
You may notice specks in your candles, these specks are actually pieces of the soy bean plant. (and a good sign the candle is 100% all natural) The wax may also crystalize after you burn it. This is also good sign you have a 100% natural candle! These crystals do not effect the burn quality of the candle.
Each candle is hand poured in small batches, or made to-order.
